Case, Bracelet, Dial & Glass

GENERAL OVERVIEW: The overall condition of the watch is excellent. The case is in outstanding condition, well preserved with clean surfaces. The crystal shows a few very light signs of wear, which are virtually invisible when the watch is worn. The original Panerai rubber strap shows visible signs of use; however, the set is complemented by an additional brand-new aftermarket rubber strap, complete with a new aftermarket deployant clasp (visible in the last photo of the listing). The original Panerai warranty card is not present; otherwise, the watch is complete with its original accessories, including the COSC certificate. From a mechanical standpoint, the Panerai OP IX movement (based on Valjoux 7750-P1) displays high amplitude in all positions, low beat error, and above-average rate stability for this caliber. The delta between positions is excellent, confirming the movement’s very healthy condition. No mechanical intervention is required.

CASE: The stainless steel case is in excellent condition, with well-preserved surfaces and no visible defects to the naked eye. Any extremely minor marks, detectable only under magnification, are negligible during everyday wear.

STRAP: The original Panerai black rubber strap shows visible signs of use and aging, while still offering a pleasant appearance on the wrist. The satin-finished stainless steel deployant clasp is in excellent condition, with no visible scratches.

DIAL: The black raised-pattern (tapisserie) dial, the defining feature of this reference, is in impeccable condition, with crisp texture and excellent legibility.

BRACELET: The sapphire crystal shows a few superficial scratches near the power reserve indicator. These micro-marks are noticeable only under very close inspection or magnification and are not visible during normal daily use.

The watch is delivered with its original Panerai presentation set, including outer box, inner box, COSC certificate, booklet, quick strap removal tool (with one broken tip), and screwdriver. The original plastic warranty card is not present. An additional brand-new aftermarket rubber strap, complete with an aftermarket deployant clasp, is included. We also provide our O&D Vintage warranty card and certificate of authenticity and lawful provenance.
