Info
There are watches that tell the story of an era. And then there are watches that become the symbol of an era.
The Omega Seamaster Professional 300M ref. 2264.50.00 belongs to the generation that definitively consolidated the modern identity of the Seamaster line: technical, professional, instantly recognizable. It is the quartz version of the iconic late-1990s Diver 300M, today widely known among collectors by the nickname “Peter Blake”, a tribute to the exploratory and maritime spirit that characterized that generation of timepieces.
Produced around 1999, this reference perfectly embodies the design of the first modern Seamaster 300M generation: 41 mm case, black aluminum bezel with bold white numerals, helium escape valve at 10 o’clock and the unmistakable black wave-pattern dial.
The dial itself is one of the most fascinating elements of this model. The wave motif creates a refined sense of depth under changing light, while the oversized applied indexes and skeleton hands filled with generous luminous material ensure immediate legibility and strong sporting character. The overall result is balanced, functional and still remarkably contemporary today.
The Omega quartz calibre 1538, extremely reliable and precise, represents a pragmatic technical choice: reduced maintenance, consistent accuracy and total operational reliability. This is a Seamaster designed to be worn and used, not merely collected.
The caseback with the iconic embossed hippocampus, the solid construction and the aesthetic coherence between case, bezel and bracelet make it one of the most representative divers of the late twentieth century.
A pure Seamaster. Authentic. Iconic.
Case, Bracelet, Dial & Glass
General Overview: This Omega Seamaster Professional 300M “Peter Blake” reference 2264.50.00, produced in 1999, is presented in excellent condition, with a level of preservation rarely found, comparable to a true NOS (New Old Stock) example. The lugs remain thick, full and sharply defined, with superb finishing that clearly confirms the absence of polishing. The set is complete and includes, among other items, the original warranty and original Omega box. The battery is operating at full efficiency, the watch is perfectly functional and ready to be worn immediately, without the need for any service or intervention.
Case: The 41 mm stainless steel case is in outstanding condition, virtually free from signs of wear. The lugs remain thick and crisp, with excellent definition between brushed and polished surfaces, fully consistent with original factory finishes. The black bezel is in excellent condition and retains a fresh and uniform appearance. The caseback condition matches the overall state of the watch: the serial number and the classic embossed hippocampus remain sharp, deep and clearly defined. On the wrist, the watch conveys a remarkable sense of structural integrity and aesthetic freshness, very close to new.
Bracelet: The stainless steel Omega bracelet is in excellent condition and plays a key role in the overall sporting identity of the watch. The surfaces remain homogeneous and solid, with only minimal signs of use consistent with the exceptional overall preservation. The clasp shows only micro hairlines visible under close inspection, while the Omega engraving remains perfectly preserved and well defined. The bracelet is complete with all original links; four additional links are currently removed and will be supplied with the watch. In full configuration, it comfortably fits wrists up to approximately 22 cm.
Dial: The black dial with its iconic wave pattern, the defining element of this model, is in excellent condition. The surface is uniform and deep, delivering a clean and refined visual impact. Applied indexes and hands are in impeccable condition, and the green Super-LumiNova remains fully functional, ensuring excellent legibility in low-light conditions.
Crystal: The sapphire crystal is clear and free of scratches, further confirming the overall outstanding condition of the timepiece.
