The Bulgari Diagono Scuba Chronograph ref. SCB38S represents one of the sportiest expressions of Bulgari watchmaking, a model that combines the distinctive design of the Roman maison with a strong technical character conceived for dynamic everyday use.
The Diagono collection was created with the aim of bringing Bulgari aesthetics into the world of sport watches, resulting in timepieces characterized by bold lines and an immediately recognizable design. With the Scuba Chronograph version, this sporty spirit is further reinforced, creating a watch designed to offer robustness, readability and chronograph functionality.
The 38 mm case maintains compact yet solid proportions on the wrist, while the unidirectional rotating bezel with 60-minute scale clearly recalls the world of professional diving watches, reinforcing the model’s sporty identity. The black dial, clean and well balanced, features the chronograph layout while ensuring excellent legibility and the aesthetic balance typical of Bulgari production.
Powering the watch is the automatic chronograph calibre Bulgari BVL 191, a reliable movement derived from the ETA 2894-2 base and developed by Bulgari for the Diagono collection, designed to deliver precision and robustness in everyday use.
The result is a timepiece that combines sporty character, Italian design and solid construction quality, perfectly expressing Bulgari’s philosophy: a distinctive style capable of blending elegance and performance in a watch designed to be worn every day.

General Overview: The Bulgari Diagono Scuba reference SCB38S has not been polished and remains in very good overall condition. Only minor superficial marks consistent with normal use over time are present. The movement has been tested by our service center and its performance fully meets the standards of the Maison. The watch is complete with its original box and warranty and is accompanied by our 24-month warranty.
Case: The case shows normal signs of wear for a watch of this age. The lugs display some light scratches and small nicks but remain thick and well defined, with the original brushed finish still clearly visible. The sides of the case show minor surface marks that are not noticeable to the touch. The crown guards remain thick and well preserved, a good indication that the watch has been polished very little, if at all. The rotating bezel is in very good condition with only light surface marks. The caseback is consistent with the overall condition of the watch and features crisp and deep engravings.
Strap: The black rubber strap is in very good overall condition. The original Bulgari stainless steel deployant clasp shows normal signs of use but remains fully functional. This particular clasp system features an internal pin that fits into the strap holes; the wrist size is adjusted by opening the deployant and removing the internal bar, allowing the pin to be positioned in the desired hole for a secure and elegant fit.
Dial: The black dial is very well preserved and shows no noteworthy signs of wear.
Crystal: The sapphire crystal is clear and free from notable signs of wear.

Originally sold by an authorized Bulgari retailer on October 23rd, 2003, this Scuba Diagono is offered with its original Bulgari box, which shows normal signs of age, the outer cardboard box and the original warranty.
Also included are our O&D Vintage card and our certificate of authenticity and lawful provenance.
We also provide a 24-month O&D Vintage warranty starting from the date of purchase.
