Info

The Omega Speedmaster Apollo XI 3592.50 is a refined and fascinating interpretation of the legendary “Moonwatch.” The model offered, while not part of the numbered Apollo XI series produced only in 1989 to celebrate the 20th anniversary of the mission that landed man on the Moon, does not lose any of its exclusivity or quality and remains an icon in horological history. With its elegant design and unique features, this model is a sought-after piece by collectors and watch enthusiasts alike.

One of the most captivating features of this Speedmaster is its black dial. Equipped with tritium indices, these develop a unique sand-golden patina over time, giving the watch a vintage appearance that is particularly desirable. The legendary luminosity of the tritium fades over the years, creating a warm and captivating effect that only tritium can confer, giving the dial an irresistible beauty.

At the heart of this Speedmaster is the Omega 863 caliber, a manual-winding movement that made history in horology. Developed from the Lemania 1873 base, this movement is renowned for its reliability and accuracy. This particular version features a transparent case back that allows you to admire the movement in all its beauty, making this Speedmaster even more special for collectors and watch enthusiasts.

The satin-finished steel bracelet, reference 1479, is one of the most comfortable and beautiful ever developed by Omega for its Moonwatches. Its satin links give it an elegant and refined look, while comfort is ensured thanks to its solid yet lightweight structure, which fits perfectly around the wrist.

In summary, the Omega Speedmaster Apollo XI 3592.50 is a watch that combines vintage charm, the precision of the Omega 863 caliber, and unique beauty. With its tritium dial, transparent case back, and 1479 bracelet, this model is a must-have for any watch collector and an unmissable piece for anyone looking for a timepiece that tells a story of exploration and innovation.

Case, Bracelet, Dial & Glass

The watch exhibits all the characteristics of a NOS (New Old Stock) piece, meaning it has never been worn and is preserved in excellent condition. The case is in perfect condition, with no visible signs of wear. Only a thorough examination with a magnifying glass may reveal tiny marks that would not be visible during daily use. Upon closer inspection, the finishes—both the polished and satin surfaces—appear as though they have just come out of the factory.

The Omega satin-finished steel bracelet, reference 1479 with 812 end pieces, is one of the most admired bracelets for the Moonwatch. Comfortable and robust, it shows virtually no signs of wear, both to the naked eye and under magnification. It consists of 20 links and fits wrists up to approximately 18 cm in circumference. Please note that the bracelet is not complete, but it retains its original and flawless appearance.

The black dial is one of the standout features of this reference. It is in excellent condition, with the tritium indices having developed a beautiful sand-colored patina over time, enhancing the vintage charm of the watch.

The hesalite crystal, also in near-new condition, does not feature the classic Omega logo engraving, a detail typical of some models produced in the early ’90s. This distinctive feature adds to the authenticity and historical value of the model.
